I used a large variety of Tula Pink fabric from different lines to complete my foundation pieced butterfly. I love doing rainbow patterns with Tula Pink! I choose to do black for my background instead of white to really make my colors pop and I think it worked out well. I did simple straight line quilting radiating from the butterfly, similar to the sample quilt for this project.
I must say that the pattern went together super easily! I was a little concerned because there are a few thick spots which can sometimes be hard to line up properly but I had no problems! I diffidently recommend this pattern for a quick project that feels very rewarding. I pieced the butterfly one weekend, did the background the next weekend, and then spent an extra day quilting and binding. Im already coinciding making a second one in a different color way! Now I just need to find this beauty a home!
