I have no completed the first 9 blocks in the splendid sampler!
The 7th block was out of my comfort zone but I want to try everyblock. If at the end it doesn't mix well with the rest of my bold blocks it will either be the quilts label or part of a smaller quilt.
I purposely picked colors for the min quilt in this block that reminded me of the quilt on my son's bed. We just got his big boy bed set up over the weekend and I think it looks so sweet!
Block 8 was just a quick fun block! It was nice to just use all the bold colors and let them do the talking instead of fussy cutting.
Here are my first 9 together. I like were I am going! It's bright and fun! I even have faith that number 9 just might be able to hold his own!
A sneak peek at my New Hexagon Quilt! I now have all of my rosettes together and all of my edge pieces sewn in. All that's left is pulling paper before it can go to the quilter. Im probably about 2/3 of the way done and Im just really struggling to find the time to pull the rest since I can't do it when my son is awake/around. I feel like I've kept you waiting long enough so I wanted to share a little preview even if it's not in the best lighting and I cut off the top. Hopefully I'll have a better representation soon!
